“Sin in the Church”
Big Idea: “The church is the dwelling place of a holy God and it must be treated that way.”
Sin is Contagiously Toxic (1 Cor. 5:6)
Jesus has the power over sin (1 Cor. 5:7-8)
We are all integral members of the Church (Rom. 12:4-5)
Must remove toxic sin from God’s dwelling place (1 Cor. 5:9-13)
Questions to consider: Do you ever treat or view sin too flippantly? Is there any sin in your life that is fermenting? Is there any sin in someone else's life that is fermenting that you can lovingly confront?
