SERMON NOTES

“What do we need to know in order to read the Sermon on the Mount well?”

The Sermon on the Mount is Part of Matthew’s Gospel

The Sermon on the Mount is Carefully Constructed

The Sermon on the Mount Summarizes Jesus’s Teaching on Kingdom Life

The Sermon on the Mount Challenges and Comforts

Response:

Set aside some time this week to read the Sermon through, in its entirety. If you can, do this more than once—to read the Sermon silently to yourself shouldn’t take much more than 10 minutes. As you read, reflect on what words or themes are repeated, the places where you are challenged or encouraged, and any questions that arise. Make a note of these, so that you can consider how they are addressed in the sermon series ahead.

Why Give?

When we give, we're supporting His work. It is an act of worship for His generosity and all that He has given to us.

If you're visiting us, please do not feel obligated to give. We mainly rely on the support of those who call Ross Road Community Church their home.
