SERMON NOTES
“We pursue unity because we are already united in Christ”
Vs 1 (literal translation): “Therefore, I urge you (I, the prisoner in the Lord), to walk in a way worthy of the calling to which you were called…"
Vs. 2: “with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love…”
Vs 3: “being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace…”
QUESTIONS TO REFLECT ON: Which of these traits do you need the Holy Spirit’s help to develop? Choose a time each day to ask for God’s help and make a plan as to how you can live it out. How does the unity the Spirit has given impact the way we are to walk? How is this possible in times of disagreement?
