What I do: I am seeking God’s leading in learning to adjust to retirement and doing meaningful things that give me joy. After 34 wonderful years in Education there is a big void to fill, but I know God has amazing plans!
Family: My husband Derrick and I have been married for 44 years. We have two grown daughters: Kristi is married to Daytona for 21 years. They have no children of their own but have hundreds of children that they love, and serve, in South Africa where they volunteer with Hands at Work Africa. They are in their 7th year there. Sarah lives closer to us in Fort Langley with our two grandchildren, Georgia and Max. She works in pharmaceuticals.
Education: BA – University of Toronto; PDP Teaching – University of Victoria; MAEL – Trinity Western University
How long have I been at RRCC: Derrick and I have been at Ross Road for just over 7 years.
Hope and vision for RRCC: I love our church! My desire is that we would all grow and work together as the body of Christ to help people find and follow Jesus; reaching into communities and people groups that that we have not sought before.
A few of my favourite things:
Authors: Louise Penny, Richard Wagamese, and countless others as long as they are writers of good literature!
Music: Casting Crowns
Life verse: For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. (Romans 11:36)
