Good morning!
My role at Ross Road: I am the Administrative Assistant here at Ross Road.
My family: My parents are Danny and Cindy Sue, and I have an older brother, Michael, and an older sister, Christy.
How long have I been at Ross Road: I began attending Ross Road in 2006, shortly after moving here from Brazil. I was an active participant in the children’s and youth programs as I grew up. And I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to give back by volunteering here at the church for many years as a youth leader. In 2021 I was the youth ministry intern, before beginning in my current role in early 2022...which is before my mom started working here. In case you're wondering.
A few of my favourite things/hobbies: Some key interests of mine include watching sports, writing, and playing videogames—admittedly a little heavy on that last one, haha. Though as of February 2022, I am a collegiate Esports player…which means I still play videogames too much, but at least now there are scholarships involved.
A favourite verse or passage: Jeremiah 1: 6-9
Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the Lord said to me,
“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.”
Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,
“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth."
