My Role at Ross Road Community Church: Co-Lead Pastor
My family: My wife Rosabelle and I are privileged to have four grown sons, four daughters-in-law, four grandsons, and four granddaughters.
Wisdom/advice: “Seek first to understand; then to be understood.” Stephen Covey
How long we’ve served at Ross Road: We began at Ross Road Community Church on January 1, 2011. I’ve been a pastor in Saskatchewan, Ontario, and B.C. since I was twenty, as a solo pastor, church planter, and team leader.
One thing most people don’t know about me: In grade 12, I made it to the Alberta High School Provincials in high jump.
A Few of My Favourite Things:
Discovering life-transforming truth in God’s inspired Word
Canoeing and kayaking on either really flat water or through big waves
Skiing on a blue-sky day with people I love
Walking with my wife beside meandering rivers
Watching eagles, osprey, and kingfishers fish
Reading at the beach between cool dips
A Favourite Bible Verse:
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking (practices upon which we might differ), but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
