A budget is useless if you don’t stick to it.

A wedding ring doesn’t make you a good spouse. 

A title doesn’t make you a good leader.

A faith in Christ without action is dead.

The book of James invites every follower of Jesus to put faith into action in every area of our lives.  We are called to Active Discipleship.

Community Disciplines

Following Jesus is not a solo endeavour. As James concludes his letter, he has several rapid-fire commands and encouragements that he urges the believers to put into practice as a community. These commands concern prayer, healing, confession, and more.
