MONTH OF PRAYER

Welcome to a month-long prayer journey at Ross Road Community Church. Prayer is an essential part of our life as people and as a church. We believe that there is power in our prayer (James 5:16) and we have a God who invites us to approach His throne of grace with confidence (Heb 4:16).

The events of 2020, most notably the COVID-19 pandemic and accompanying challenges, have changed the world forever. The way in which we do church has changed, too, as we shifted to an online reality for much of the year. 2021 is an important year for us as we emerge from the pandemic and figure out how to be on mission together in community in a new reality.  There are many questions yet to be answered and we need God’s guidance. This month of prayer is vitally important as we listen to God’s Spirit for His direction as to how best live out our mission and vision as a church.

BIBLE READING CHALLENGE

This January we are starting a 2021 Bible reading challenge where we as a church will go through the whole Bible together. Each day will include passages from the Old and New Testament. Therefore, if going through the whole Bible in 2021 is too much for you, we invite you just to just read the Old or New Testament chapters. We also invite you to join our Facebook group to talk about what God is showing you each day and even to ask questions you may have.

A copy of the bible reading schedule can be found in the downloads below.
