The Provincial Health Officer has instituted restrictions upon religious gatherings once again. Here’s what you need to know:

There are two parts to the Provincial Health Order when it comes to religious gatherings. First, masks are now required to attend worship gatherings and mid-week ministry programs for all people five and up. Second, there is either a capacity limit of 50% or no capacity limit if everyone present has been vaccinated. We don’t plan to check vaccine cards for our services, so we’ll be abiding by the 50% capacity limit. Since we’ve moved to two Sunday services, we’ve been under that 50% limit, so not much will change except that everyone will be required to wear a mask. If we need overflow seating, the gym can be used with a live feed from the sanctuary.

We all wish we weren’t still dealing with this, but we are. So let’s be reminded to pray for our government leaders who are making decisions, being patient and gracious with one another, and, in this Advent season, to dwell on the fact that Christ’s light shines brightly in the darkness. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Pastor Craig or our elders (elders@rossroadcc.ca).

May the peace of Christ be with you.
