GOOD FRIDAY

I am grateful for all those who led and participated in our Good Friday service last week. It is important to remember and reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus in the Easter season and I think we did that well. Thanks to all those in involved who worked hard to prepared readings, music and other details involved in bring that service together.

RESSURECTION SUNDAY

Resurrection Sunday is the most powerful day in the church calendar.  On Sunday we enthusiastically this and celebrated the risen King Jesus!  James Thomas’ baptism was a joyful event in which he publicly proclaimed his faith in Jesus.

Our lead team led us as we worshipped through song, and then reflected on a powerful story in Luke 24 where two individuals met the risen Christ and discovered afresh who He was and is.  Through the story we considered our own responses to Jesus and reflected on how Jesus gives us a freedom that no one can take away, a grander vision of reality, and an eternity that is full of glory.

On Easter Sunday, our church always celebrates together with an Easter Bruch.  It was a wonderful time to enjoy each others company, and also the delicious baking that was provided by many of you in the congregation.
