When I tell people that the highlight of my summer is taking 65 middle school kids out to different places in BC and teaching them about Jesus, they often look at me with a puzzled look. But it really is so much fun!

This year, roughly 60% of the students did not call Ross Road their home church. It was so great to see how everyone got along, made new friends, and made our youth group a Christ-centered, welcoming community.

We had so much fun going to White Rock, WildPlay, Cultus Adventure Park, and Cultus Waterslides. God provided in so many ways—from holding the bad weather off until all the kids got on the bus, having 0 major injuries, providing a second bus driver so we could have even more kids come and hear the good news of Jesus, and so much more!

A personal highlight was when a student quoted the Monday sermon about how we are made in God's image. It was a little moment that showed that the sermon was understood and that it made an impact on the kids. Another highlight was the roughly 10 students who made either first-time declarations of faith or reaffirmed their faith.

I wanted to give thanks to everyone that made that week so special:
